Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by/crush-by hazard: On or about 07/06/2010, a rough terrain forklift was being operated without knowing the weight and load center of the load lifted. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to know the weight and load center of every load before lift as required by the manufacturer of the equipment.er
