Condition:Employees operated a material lift that had a broken seat belt.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to repair or replace the broken seat belt so that it is functional and
have employee operators wear
the seat belt while operating the material lift.
The proposed penalty for this item has been reduced by 50for effective
and efficient
abatement during the inspection.
