Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard: a) A1A - an employee was operating a John Deere loader and was not wearing his seat belt. One feasible and acceptable method for abatement is to instruct the employees to always wear their seat belt. b) A1A - an employee was operating a Case loader/backhoe and was not wearing his seat belt. One feasible and acceptable method for abatement is to instruct the employees to always wear their seat belt. c) A1A - an employee was riding outside of the cab on a Case loader/backhoe. One feasible and acceptable method for abatement is to instruct the employees to not ride equipment.
