On or about 04/27/2011, at 9801 Premier Parkway, Miramar, Fl., the
employees were exposed
to struck by hazards, while performing work in a warehouse. The employer
failed to ensure that
storage rack structural components were maintained properly and that
columns were anchored
to the floor.
The following bays had racks that were bent or not anchored to the floor:
a) Cool Room:Sect. CD 422, SECT.CC 572, Sect. CCD 282, SECT.CD842, Sect.CE
432, Sect.CC 562,Sect.0064, Sect.CM 982.
b) Bulk ROOM:
Sect.BN162, Sect.BP 162, Sect.BM 162, Sect. BK 162.
Among other methods of abatement, a feasible and acceptable methods to
correct this hazard is
to replace the bent racks and anchor them to the floor.

VIOLATION.
