Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by / caught in between hazards: On or about 04/09/2012, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while by crossing vehicular traffic lanes at the entrance to 13 300 SW 10th Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazardous condition would be to instruct employees to wear high visibility reflective clothing while in the performance of their duty. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
