29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment was not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: (a) On or about March 8, 2011, and at times prior thereto, the controlling contractor Headwaters Construction Company did not ensure that its sub-contractor Cowboy Construction & Framing, LLC adequately protected its employees from potential eye injuries by ensuring they utiilzed protective safety glasses while utilizing pneumatic nail guns and/or skillsaws. Note: Abatement certification IS NOT required for this item.
