29 CFR 1926.501(b)(7)(ii): Each employee at the edge of a well, pit, shaft, and similar excavation 6 feet (1.8 m) or morein depth was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, fences, barricades, or covers:    a)  On or about May 23, 2011 and at times prior, Jalisco International Inc. as the controlling/exposing contractor did not ensure that workers/employees were protected from fall hazards.  During caisson drilling operations, done by a subcontractor on site, employees of Jalisco and the subcontractor were exposed to fall hazards of over 6 feet.  The workers/employees were not protected by guardrail systems, fences, barricades, or covers.    Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item.
