Chain saw(s) were not shut down or the chain brake engaged when a saw was carried less than 50 feet if conditions such as, but not limited to, the terrain, underbrush and slippery surfaces, may have created a hazard for an employee:    a) Jobsite:  On July 19, 2011 employee(s) performing tree thinning activities on steep terrain with dense underbrush did not shut down or utilize the chain brake mechanism(s) on the Stihl MS 460 chainsaws that were in use to the extent possible in order to minimize potential hazard(s) to employee(s). 29 CFR 1910.266(d)(9)(i): Flammable and combustible liquids were not stored, handled, transported, and used in accordance with the requirements of subpart H of Part 1910:    a) Jobsite: On July 18, 2011 and times prior thereto employees performing silviculture activities which included service and maintenance on chainsaws, used mislabeled containers to store and transport bar oil and mixed gas liquids.  Mixed gas liquids were stored and transported in bar oil containers.        b) Jobsite: On July 18, 2011 and times prior thereto employees performing silviculture activities which included service and maintenance on chainsaws, stored and transported bar oil in a yellow colored diesel fuel container.       c) Jobsite: On July 18, 2011 and times prior thereto employees performing silviculture activities which included service and maintenance on chainsaws, stored and transported bar oil and mixed gas liquids in containers that were not intended for this use, including but not limited to, windshield washer fluid and orange juice containers.         Note) Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.
