29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) Red Line Construction Inc. at 9642 East 3rd Avenue, Denver CO 80230: On or before 7/23/11, the employer did not ensure that employees were wearing safety glasses in the following instances: 1) An employee was using a pneumatic nail gun without the use of safety glasses; 2) An employee was disconnecting roof trusses from the crane's hook and ball without the use of safety glasses; and 3) An employee was using a tag line to guide the roof trusses without the use of safety glasses. Conditions exposed employees to the hazards of eye injuries from projectiles and sharp objects.
