29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) Red Line Construction Inc. at Clay St & W 24th Ave, Denver, CO 80211: On June 27, 2013 the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that three employees erecting exterior walls on the third level worked near the edge without utilizing a fall protection system. Guardrails were removed in a section where the employees were working. The opening was approximately 6.5 feet in width and exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet.
