The bandsaw blade guard for the exposed portion of the blade outside the point of operation was upside-down, leaving the cutting edge exposed. (b) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the Shopmaster bandsaw, located in power division building 6410 at the west end. The exposed portion of the blade outside of the point of operation was not equipped with a guard.
