29 CFR 1926.1053 (b)(1): When portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access.     a) Brandon Camp Construction on or about August 22, 2011 at the address of 5716 McCartney Rd. Sandusky, OH: The employer did not ensure the side rails of the 26 foot aluminum extension ladder were extended at least three feet above the landing. Employees were exposed to falls while using the ladder to access the working level to perform roofing activities.

(a)  Brandon Camp Construction on or about August 22, 2011 at the address of 5716 McCartney Rd. Sandusky, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from head injuries while working below employees conducting roofing work above. Employees were exposed to potential impact injuries caused from falling material and/or equipment.      Brandon Camp Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311608764, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 09, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 2702 Lynn Dr. Sandusky, OH.

Sandusky, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while installing sheeting on a residential type structure.  Employees were exposed to an 18 ft fall to the ground below.    Brandon Camp Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311608764, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 09, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 2702 Lynn Dr. Sandusky, OH.
