29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: LOCATION: 830 Route 8, Barrigada, GU 96932 DESCRIPTION: Employees mixing Hanson Permanente Cement were not provided with gloves as necessary and appropriate for jobs involving exposure to Hanson Permanente Cement. HAZARD: Wet Hanson Permanente Cement can damage the skin because it is caustic, abrasive, and absorbs moisture. Hanson Permanente Cement also contains trace amounts of hexavalent chromium, a toxin harmful to the skin.

POTENTIAL HAZARD: Lack of awareness may potentially result in lengthy skin contact with wet concrete which may result in chemical burns or skin ulcers.
