Workers were exposed to a 20.0 foot fall hazard in that th eworkers were not properly trained in fall protecion criteria.

Workers were exposed to a 20.0 foot fall hazard in that the employer did not ensure the structural integrity of the working surface.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b) On or about September 20, 2011 workers were engaged in residential construction activities installing wooden framing material on a two-story, multi-unit condominium. Workers were exposed to a 20.0 fall hazard in that a method of convential fall protection was not utilized. The Elizabeth Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in the OSHA inspection number 315435594, citaion number 1, item number 1 issued on 3/11/2011.
