29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b)      On or about October 12, 2011, workers were enaged in residential type of construction activities renovating an existing single-family building. A worker was observed exposed to potential fall hazards from a distance greater than 6.0 feet while working from a ledge on the Eastside of the building in that a proper method of conventional fall protection was not utilized.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):     The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    Workers was engaged in residential type of construction activities renovating an existing building. Worker who was exposed to a potential fall hazard in excess of 6.0 feet was not properly traine din fall protecion criteria.
