29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b) On or about October 12, 2011, workers were enaged in residential type of construction activities renovating an existing single-family building. A worker was observed exposed to potential fall hazards from a distance greater than 6.0 feet while working from a ledge on the Eastside of the building in that a proper method of conventional fall protection was not utilized.
