29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels and 50-feet (15.25 m) wide or less, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, a combintation of warning line systemsand safety monitoring systems, or, on roof 50 feet or less in width, the use of a safety monitoring system alone:    a) Employees were not protected from the hazard of falling while working from a 3/12 pitched roof deck having a ground to eave height of approximately 28 feet.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.      Suarez Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315148296, citation 2, item 1, issued on March 7, 2011, and became final order on or about March 16, 2011, and OSHA violation inspection 311376024, citation 1, item 1a, issued on September 24, 2008, and became final order on or about October 3, 2008.
