29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Such programs were not provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, andequipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. (a) Masterpiece Roofing, 5288 East 118th Place, Thornton, CO: The controlling employer in charge of the jobsite had not ensured that the designated "competent person" identified and corrected fall hazards associated with residential roofing work. On or about October 21th, 2011, the sub-contractors employees were permitted to work on a 5/12 pitch roof without appropriate fall protection. Condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet.
