29 CFR 1910.178(a)(4): Modifications and additions which affect capacity and safe operation shall not be performed by the customer or user without manufacturers prior written approval. Capacity, operation, and maintenance instruction plates, tags, or decals shall be changed accordingly: On and before 12/20/2011, the employer was using 3 forklifts at the container area with a front end attachment that was not approved by the manufacturer and the forklift label markings did not include the additional weight capacities.
