1910.180(d)(6): Certification records which include the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and the serial number, or other identifier, of the crane which was inspected was not made monthly on critical items in use such as brakes, crane hooks, and ropes. This certification record shall be kept readily available. (a) Brady Sign Co. on or about January 09, 2012, at the business address of 1721 Hancock St. Sandusky, OH: The employer failed to maintain documentation of monthly inspections performed on the Skyhook Model 100HD truck mounted crane. These records shall reflect certification that critical components of the crane have been inspected by a competent person.
