29 CFR 1910.23(c)(8): The employer did not ensure that the cap (if equipped) and top step of a stepladder were not used as steps: a) Brady Sign Co, on or about March 19, 2024, at the site address of 5203 Milan Rd Sandusky, OH; The employer failed to ensure the top cap of a Werner 6ft. fiberglass ladder was not used as a step. An employee was utilizing the top cap of the ladder to perform maintenance activities on a commercial sign. The employee was exposed to falls of approximately 6 feet to the ground below.
