29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts: (a) Back Kitchen - The employer failed to provide guarding to prevent employees from getting arms/hands caught in the rotating agitator on the Cooking Kettles and Popcorn Glaze Kettles. (b) Salt Water Taffy Production - The employer failed to fully enclose and provide safety interlocks on machine SN3 and SN4 wrapping machines. (c) Salt Water Taffy Production - The employer failed to fully enclose the Rose Forgrove, Line 13 guard. (d) Production Cooling Line - The employer failed to ensure that the nip points and pinch points on conveyors located on line 10 and line 14 were fully enclosed. (e) Bulk Packing - The employer failed to ensure that the nip points and pinch points on conveyors located on M124 and M113 were properly guarded and fully enclosed.
