29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):     Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On January 31, 2012 at a worksite located at 5223 US Hwy 251, Peru Ilinois, an employee was unloading roofing materials on a low slope commercial roof without fall protection and was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet.    Brigadier Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 31076953, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on August 6, 2007, with respect to a workplace located at 413 Saulk Trail Road, Richton Park, Illinois.       Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
