29 CFR 1926.51(f)(1): The employer shall provide adequate washing facilities for employees engaged in the application ofpaints, coating, herbicides, or insecticides, or in other operations where contaminants may be harmful to the employees. Such facilities shall be innear proximity to the worksite and shall be so equipped as to enable employees to remove such substances. a. On the site where employees were handling morter which contained the chemical Portland Cement, the employer did not have clean water, clean towels and non alkaline soap in the close proximity to where the work was being performed thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard.
