29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):  Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50 feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:    (a) On or about February 1, 2012, and at times prior to that date, for the employee engaged in roofing activities working next to the unprotected edge and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 24 feet, at the City/County Intergovernmental Administration Building, located at Fifth Avenue and Third Street in Brookings, South Dakota.    Note:  This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314356494, Citation 2, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 23, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at the Dairy Micro Biology Building on Medary Avenue, Brookings, South Dakota.  Also, the company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 311870695, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 7, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at the SDSU Wellness Center, on SDSU campus east of the Coughlin Alumni Stadium in Brookings, South Dakota.
