29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required material safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: (a) The employer did not maintain copies of the material safety data sheets for gun cleaning chemicals including but not limited to Outers Nitro Solvent Bore Cleaner and Break Free Cleaner, Lubricant, Preservative. (b) The employer did not maintain copies of the material safety data sheet for the Federal brand 40 caliber ammunition. U.S. Customs and Border Protection was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no. 309098556 citation 1, item 1D, issued on December 2, 2010 with respect to a workplace at Blaine, WA.
