Swanton Sector - On or about February 15, 2016, the agency's supervisors did not ensure each employee is provided a balaclava for head, ears, neck and face protection from extreme cold temperatures that can cause frost bite and or hypothermia. Instance b. Swanton Sector - On or about February 15, 2016, the agency's supervisors did not ensure each employee was provided with adequate severe cold resistance boots designed to protect against extreme cold temperatures and the hazards that are associated with these temperatures, such as frostbite and hypothermia.

If such hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall: a. Swanton Sector - On or about February 15, 2016, the agency's management did not adequately assess which layer of clothing each agent needed for operating the ATVs in a spectrum of climate ranges from 60°F in excess to severe cold temperatures of -21°F. The U.S Customs & Border Protection was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.132(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1131312, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on 05/03/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 7 South Nevada Street. Seattle, WA.
