29 CFR 1910.106(d)(2)(iii): Container used to store flammable and combustible liquid were not in accordance with Table H-12: In the storage area of the Maintenance shop the employer is failing to ensure that a container used to store Kerosene conformed to the requirements under Table H-12 of this standard in that the blue PVC container (approximately 55 gallon container) was used to store kerosene in quantities greater than allowed under this table (the drum was approximately 1/3 full = 18 gallons) for the class of flammable and combustible liquid being stored. Table H-12 requires that Class II/III flammable and combustible liquids stored in quantities greater than 5 gallons be stored in a metal drum.

Specifically, a bulk storage tank holding kerosene was not marked with it specific content.
