29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) On or about 02/28/12, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 12' 3" to the dirt ground below. The employee was working from the Lull Aerial lift, performing welding/ grinding, and not wearing a safety harness and lanyard. b) On or about 02/28/12, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 12' to the dirt ground below. The employee was working from the Snorkel Aerial lift, performing welding/ grinding, and not wearing a safety harness and lanyard. The UNITED ERECTORS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.453(b)(2)(v), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312855539, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, ISSUED ON FEBRUARY 10, 2010. THIS ITEM BECAME FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 8, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2171 EAST COMMON, NEW BRAUNFELS, TX 78130.
