29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Press 81 cell was not guarded, or completely guarded on the end and side of press. There was an end opening approximately 38" wide by 26" high. b) Press 64 cell was not guarded, or completely guarded on the open end by the conveyor. There was an opening approximately 30" wide by 72" high. At the side of the press there was an opening of approximately 22" by 35". c) Press 35 was not guarded or completely guarded at the top of the press. Approximately 4" from top of blue guard to die nip point. d) Press 74 was not guarded, or completely guarded. There was an unguarded approximately 20" wide by 35" high opening, and inadequately guarded area below coveyor which is approximately 40" high by 50" wide. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
