29 CFR 1910.22(b)(1):   The employer did not ensure that aisles and passageways were kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard.    (a)  At the BLM, Tonopah field office, North of ROCO bldg., 1553 S. Main Street, stairway was not properly secured, stair post were not anchored to the ground and the end of the handicap ramp was supported by a stock of wood blocks.

29 CFR 1910.24(f):   Rise height and tread width were not uniform throughout any flight of stairs including any foundation structure used as one or more treads of the stairs:    (a)  At the BLM, Tonopah field office, North of ROCO bldg., 1553 S. Main Street, stairway risers from the ground to the first steps were 14.5 and 12 inches.  All other risers were 6 inches.

29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2):  The exit access was not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. Where there is only one exit access leading to an exit or exit discharge, the width of the exit and exit discharge was not at least equal to the width of the exit access.    (a)  At the hydrologist's cubicle, the exit access was approximately 12 inches wide and obstructed by plastic containers.

29 CFR 1910.159(c)(10):   The employer did not assure that sprinklers are spaced to provide a maximum protection area per sprinkler, a minimum of interference to the discharge pattern by building or structural members or building contents and suitable sensitivity to possible fire hazards. The minimum vertical clearance between sprinklers and material below was not 18 inches (45.7 cm).    (a)  At the janitor's closet, cleaning gear and other materials stored in shelves were obstructing the sprinkler head.
