29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by: a) 8 foot press (#12010) had inadequately guarded side openings; guard openings were approximately 10" wide by 20" high, with approximately 14" to point of operation (with 8' Toro being run). b) 6 foot press (#12011) had inadequately guarded side openings similar to the 8 foot press. c) Backend of Mazak Laser (#11050) beds were not guarded to keep employees from hazard. Bed travels approximately 12" past frame over pan creating pinch points. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
