Tumbling/Abrasive Blasting Area - On or about 4/10/12, containers are being used by employees as dip tanks to clean parts with a flammable liquid (acetone), as well as to store the acetone overnight. These containers did not meet the requirements of an approved container for storage of flammable liquids. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Tumbling/Abrasive Blasting Area - On or about 4/10/12, Employees filling a Buckhorn Plastic container, used for degreasing, with a one gallon metal container of Sherwin Williams Acetone and did not bond or ground the container to eliminate the potential for static sparks. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
