Church St. Marion, OH: The employer failed to ensure an employee working from a MEC 2633ES scissor lift was adequately protected from falls.  The employee was permitted to utilize an extension ladder atop the scissor lifts elevated platform to reach structural steel member near the ceiling of the structure. While working from the ladder in this condition the employee was exposed to an approximate 33ft fall to the ground below.
