29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from fallingor flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. 29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds shall be fully planked or decked between the frontuprights and the guardrail supports as follows: (a). Worksite located at 4059 Broadway, Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was exposed to a fall hazard in that the work platform the employee was using was not fully decked or planked to prevent an employee from falling off the scaffold.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected fromfalling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employeeson each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers.Note to paragraph (g)(1): The fall protection requirements for employees installing suspension scaffold support systems on floors, roofs,and other elevated surfaces are set forth in subpart M of this part. (a). Worksite located at 4059 Broadway, Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was exposed to a fall hazard in that the scaffold being used by the employee was not provided with a guardrail system to prevent falls.
