29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation. At 1900 12th St, Great Bend, the employer had permitted the use of a scaffold, which was missing baseplates on all four legs of the supported scaffold, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 4 feet.

29 CFR 1926.452(c)(2): Frames and panels were not braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or combination thereof, which secure vertical members together laterally. At 1900 12th St, Great Bend, KS, five scaffolds were missing cross bracing, exposing employees of falls of up to approximately 7 feet. TOM HERRMAN MASONRY was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1926.452(c)(2) which was contained in OSHA Inspection #316033612, Citation #1, Item #3, issued on November 8, 2011 (Final Order December 6, 2011), with respect to a workplace located at 730 N. Market St, Wichita, KS.
