29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting: a) Line 7 (USDA Line cheese grinder): On April 9, 202 and at times prior therto, five-inch sections of two side by side horizontal rotating shafts were not enclosed thereby exposing employees to the potential hazard of inadvertent contact with the rotating pieces. GREAT AMERICAN APPETIZERS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 311580666, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 3A, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS ABATED ON MARCH 24, 2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 216 8TH STREET N., NAMPA, IDAHO 83687.
