(b)  Employee(s) operating the Powermatic drill press in the Plasma department were exposed to physical injuries due to no guard being provided for the rotating chuck that can spin between 300 to 1500 rpms.    (c)  Employee(s) operating the Cleereman drill press in Bay 2 (east) were exposed to physical injuries due to no guard being provided for the rotating chuck that can spin between 62 to 1000 rpms.    (d)  Employee(s) operating the Powermatic drill press in Bay 4 (north wall) were exposed to physical injuries due to no guard being provided for the rotating chuck that can spin between 300 to 1520 rpms.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, shall be guarded. The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.    Employee(s) operating the full revolution 88.6 ton Mubea Iron Worker along the north wall of the Plasma cutting station department were exposed to physical injuries due to no guard being provided for the front end of the hole punch area.
