29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systsem: At this worksite, employees installing all-weather barrier paper and painting the roof on the newly constructed building were not protected from the hazard of falling from a height greater than ten feet above ground level by a suitable means of fall protection such as but not limited to a full body harness with lanyard and anchor point or a guardrail system.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: At this worksite, employees installing an all-weather barrier at heights greater than ten feet without fall protection were not provided with training so the employee is able to recognize the nature of fall hazards and the procedures to follow to minimize these hazards.
