29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about June 10, 2021, at a commercial dwelling, employees worked at heights greater than six feet and were not provided with fall protection. The employer H & R Roofing was previously cited for a violation for a similar condition of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501 (b) (13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1411496, citation number 1, item number 1-a and was affirmed as a final order on August 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Orange Wood Drive & South "M" Street in McAllen, TX 78501.
