29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about May 2, 2012, at the jobsite employees were observed installing roofing materials on a steep roof over 6 feet without wearing personal fall arrest systems or having any other type of fall protection systems provided. Employees were exposed to fall hazard.
