29 CFR 1910.106(d)(3)(ii)(a): Metal cabinets constructed in the following manner shall be deemed to be in compliance. The bottom, top, door, and sides of cabinet shall be at least No. 18 gage sheet iron and double walled with 1 1/2 - inch air space. Joints shall be riveted, welded or made tight by some equally effective means. The door shall be provided with a three-point lock, and the door sill shall be raised at least 2 inches above the bottom of the cabinet. On or before 18 April, 2012 in the maintenance shop, employees were exposed to a fire hazard in that the flammable storage locker in use did not meet the requirements for construction.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings shall be effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. On, or at dates prior to, April 18, 2012, employees were exposed to a risk of fire from a Square D electrical box, located in the janitor closet-600 hall, which had an unused opening on the left side of the cabinet.

29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(ix): All lamps for general illumination shall be protected from accidental contact or breakage by a suitable fixture or lampholder with a guard. Brass shell, paper-lined sockets, or other metal-cased sockets may not be used unless the shell is grounded. On, or on dates before, April 18, 2012, in the janitor closet of the 700 hall maintenance employees were exposed to struck by hazards as a result of light fixture, positioned below 8 feet, which did not have guards installed over the bulbs.
