29 CFR 1910.176(b): Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a) Benjamin Steel Company Inc. located on 15 Mansfield Industrial Pkwy in Mansfield, OH: On or about May 7, 2012, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from unstable stacks of tubular steel in bldg. #2 near the Southside of bay #4. Two bundles of steel fell onto the legs of an employee both weighing approximately 5000 pounds.
