29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:        On or about at 5/3/12 located at 7160 Lot 389 Cordery Rd, Cumming, GA:  Employees were holding up walls and passing lumber to one another. Employees were observed without hard hats exposing themselves to struck by hazards.      The CSHO observed abatement of this hazard during the inspection. Abatement Observed: YES

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees shall be provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.    On or about at 5/3/12 located at 7160 Lot 389 Cordery Rd, Cumming, GA: Employees were exposed to eye injury, employees were using a pneumatic nail gun and a skill saw without safety glasses while preforming carpentry work.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1)(iii): The employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees including the safety of the equipment employees are using including electrical insulation.    On or about at 5/3/12 located at 7160 Lot 389 Cordery Rd, Cumming, GA : Employees were using a damaged extension cord with the insulation broken off exposing the wires. The extension cord was powering the skill saw to cut the lumber.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.  On or about at 5/3/12 located at 7160 Lot 389 Cordery Rd, Cumming, GA:  At the job site, the windows wall openings were not protected, no window guardrails were in place, to prevent the employees from falling out the window opening to the ground lower level which was 10.5'.
