29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Platform(s) on all working levels of scaffolds, were not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and guardrail supports: (a) The scaffold platform where employees were working was not fully planked. There was one foot gap between the plank and the scaffold upright exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 14 feet. Corrected during inspection.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: (a) Employees had not been trained to recognize hazards associated with working on a scaffolding. The scaffolding the employees were working on had an incomplete guardrail on the highest working level (14 feet), and was not fully planked. Abatement verification is required for this item.
