29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, nor by any of the means listed in subparagraphs (A) through (D) of this paragraph. (a) Fourth Floor Outside of Apartment 401 - Men worked near a "Romex" temporary branch circuit which was spliced together with wire nuts and electrical tape. The spliced section of the branch circuit was directly in front of the door to the apartment and was approximately 5 feet above the floor thereby exposing workers to the risk of electric shock on or about May, 8 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
