29 CFR 1926.652(g)(1)(ii): Shields were not installed in a manner to restrict lateral or other hazardous movement of the shield in the event of the application of sudden lateral loads. a) Jobsite at 1175 Glendale Valley Boulevard, Fallentimber, PA: On or about 5/16/12, an employee was working inside an approximately 14 foot deep trench and the two trench boxes were not installed in a manner that restricted lateral movement. The top box extended approximately 8 feet past the bottom box and the two boxes were not secured to each other.
