29 CFR 1926.352(d): Suitable fire extinguishing equipment was not immediately available in the work area(s) where welding, cutting, or heating was being performed: On or about May 24, 2012, at the jobsite an employee was observed performing welding operation from an aerial boom lift platform from a height approximately 17 feet without a portable fire extinguisher provided for immediate use. The employee was exposed to fire hazard. BROWERS & ASSOCIATES WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.352(d), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314930793, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 21, 2011 WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF MARCH 31, 2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE HAZARD AT 10800 N. 148TH E. AVE., OWASSO, OK 74055.
