29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2): All deficiencies such as listed were not being carefully examined and determination made as to whether they constitute a safety hazard: The employer failed to carefully inspect and repair and replace defects that may constitute a safety hazard. Employees were operating cranes with locking and clamping devices that were distorted and/or damaged. Cranes on lines B, C and D have a defective hook latch. Abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
