29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open sides of all exposed stairways and stair platforms: At the job site, 700 Rutledge, Yates Center, Kansas, the stairway leading to the outside unload platform was missing the midrails on both sides of the stairway. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the ground.

Employees were exposed to hazards associated with emergency egress from the building. (a) The North door in the Bulk Fertilizer Area needs to be marked with an exit sign. (b) The East door in the Feedmill Warehouse Area needs to be marked with an exit sign.

(b) Circuit Breakers in Maintenance Shop on South level not marked to indicate purpose. (c) Circuit Breakers at North exit door in the feed warehouse not fully marked to indicate purpose. (d) Circuit Breakesr near Roy's Office was not marked to indicate purpose.
