29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift:    Tyco Health Care Group LP, dba Covidien, at 5920 Longbow Drive, Boulder, CO: On 4/29/12 Tyco Health Care Group LP, dba Covidien, did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift.  A contractor applied floor coatings containing methyl methacrylate to the floor of Room 105A of Building 4 on 4/29/12.  Covidien employees working in adjacent production areas whom worked during the third shift, reporting to work at 11:00pm on 4/29/12, did not have access to the Material Safety Data Sheets for Dur-A-Flex Cryl-A-Prime, Dur-A-Flex Cryl-A-Glaze, or Dur-A-Flex Cryl-A-Top.  Covidien employees were exposed to vapors of the floor coatings.  Covidien did not ensure that employees had access to the MSDS's in their work area during each shift.  This condition exposed employees to a chemical hazard.
